This week we will be visiting the home of Negan and his Saviors. I doubt that we will get the same light-hearted, cool vibe that we did from The Kingdom, so prepare yourself for that! We will see what has become of Daryl, and besides the fact that you know he is feeling a crazy amount of guilt over Glenn’s death, what other types of torture are they putting him through.

Dwight will be a big part of this upcoming episode too, and I think people’s opinion of him may start to change. I hope they bring more of his comic storyline into the show, because I think it would be good for the viewers to know that there is at least one sympathetic person within Negan’s nest.

Episode 3 Sneak Peek: ‘Like Me or Them’

What the hell are those guys doing to those walkers anyway? Why the letters? So, Dwight telling Daryl his choices I think breaks down to this: be like them, the other guys in the letter sweatshirts, be like him and bow to Negan as one of the Saviors, or ‘them’, die and turn and be put in with the other walkers.

With all the hope basically taken from him at the moment, and the guilt he’s carrying, what are the chances that Daryl just gives up? Personally, I can’t see that happening, but I guess it’s possible. I am still holding out hope that Carol comes to save him, even though she is a little busy with Ezekiel right now. Right now, Rick doesn’t really seem like he is up for a rescue mission.

However, I do think that Daryl will find a way to stay strong there for a while. He may just play it smart and follow whatever insane rules Negan lays out for him; even if it’s just for show and to extend his life a bit longer. I kind of felt like Negan was amused by Daryl and maybe his goal will be simply to break Daryl like he did Rick. Ultimately resulting in Daryl calling the Saviors his new home. Afterall, Daryl did kill a bunch of Negan’s guys with a rocket launcher, maybe he’s looking to refill the ranks.

The Walking Dead 7×03 “The Cell” airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on AMC.
