Fear the Walking Dead Season 2B Premieres August 21

August will be a great month for me. Not only will I have a birthday but Fear the Walking Dead returns on August 21. Fear didn’t leave us with quite the cliffhanger The Walking Dead did at the end of Season 6. It did leave us with many unanswered questions though. Did Daniel survive the fire? Where are the survivors going to go and what are they going to do now? Where are Travis  and Chris? And has Nick lost his blooming mind, wandering around among the dead?

This scene hurt my heart as a mother. For the son she had struggled so hard to rescue and keep alive at all costs to reject her and prefer to roam among the dead must have been devastating. She’s a tiger mom; she’ll never give up on her child.

Travis, likewise, as a father, must have been devastated to have to restrain and threaten to harm his child. In his father’s wisdom he could see Chris was completely out of control and he did the only thing he could; he chose to stay with his son and do his best to help him.

I will let the video speak for itself. It seems we are in for a wild ride the second half of Season 2. Madison and Travis have not given up on their children, as I knew they wouldn’t. It looks like our survivors must learn to fear the living as well as the dead, just as they have done on The Walking Dead. Strand, Alicia, and Ofelia are still with us, as well. Tune in with me on August 21 at 9/8C on AMC to learn the fate of all our beloved survivors.

I'm from a very rural area in SW Mississippi. I'm Mom to one grown son and a little Maltese (see profile picture). I came late to The Walking Dead but instantly fell in love with the series and Daryl. I binge-watched the first four and a half seasons to catch up before it came back on in January, 2015. Now I'm hopelessly hooked. I also watch Fear the Walking Dead and The Talking Dead. I love blogging and interviewing the cast members and cosplayers. I believe everyone deserves recognition for their contribution to the success of TWD and FTWD, no matter how small.
