This Week’s Dead: The Walking Dead News – Week of 10-12-2015
Hey there members of TWD family…here’s This Week’s Dead, your round-up of The Walking Dead news! If you don’t want to read spoilers from the premiere, scroll down to the show news section!
Last Night’s Episode: The Walking Dead 6×01 “First Time Again”
Episode 601 The First Time Again got the new season off to an explosive start. Throughout the episode, black and white flashback scenes were perfectly interwoven with the tense “present day” action of an attempt to move a quarry full of walkers safely away from Alexandria. The massive herd was led by Daryl astride his motorcycle and Sasha and Abraham in a slow-moving car (comically complete with hazard lights).
Difficult Alexandria resident Carter was killed when trying to coax a few stray walkers back onto the road, but Rick’s plan otherwise looked as if it would be successful. BUT then, the sound of a loud horn distracted the walkers away, putting them on course to arrive right at Alexandria’s gates. At the end of the episode, the screen faded to black while the horn continued to blow, leading to the looming question of who was honking it…
Last Night’s Talking Dead
Talking Dead’s first episode of the new season featured Greg Nicotero, Scott Gimple and Ethan Embry who placed Carter. The trio discussed Carter’s character, and Greg gave an inside look at how many of the effects with the walkers were done in the episode.
